Nuveen Real Estate and development advisor Taconic Partners enlisted Davella to assist in the 730 Third Avenue transformation — TIAA’s headquarters since the 1950s — into a sophisticated Class A office and retail building with first-class amenities.
The design building repositioning included a new ground and second-floor facade renovation, a new lobby, and the addition of a full-floor amenity space and a spacious rooftop terrace.
A Helicoidal featured stair in the lobby leads to the amenity floor, which features a state-of-the-art fitness center, conference center, food hall, and co-working lounge, as well as a space to exhibit rotating artwork.
An occupant-accessible terrace with 360-degree skyline views provides tenants access to the outdoors and fresh air and fosters a connection to the surrounding neighborhood.
